Balancegang

The project, Balancegang (Balancing act) originates from our own courtyard in Amager which during the Corona shutdown transformed into a lively space for play and creativity. The creative pulse let us to invent our own game; and with a couple of sticks, some strings and a few stones, we created a mobile structure that balance in a system of tension and friction. With inspiration from the various activities in the courtyard, we later formed the wooden structures as instrument-like objects. The works have a cheerful character but also signal a vulnerability that indicates that distance must be kept.”
